Two companies are examples of how a region can profit from climate change

Unbelievable but true – despite of all negative consequences climate change seems to offer advantages for East Brandenburg. While our earth is warming up provident companies are able to profit from that fact as do their locations like Frankfurt (Oder). Conergy AG builds a worldwide unique facility to produce solar panels in that city. This investment will create about 1.000 new jobs.

Other companies in East Brandenburg belong to the winning side too. As climate becomes more arid, it will be a kick for water saving technologies. In Fürstenwalde with RST Gesellschaft für Wasserspartechnik mbH there is a company which develops and sells solutions making water saving more comfortable and low-priced. With this system customers around the world are able to optimize their water consumption in a reasonable way. Last year RST was awarded with the Future Prize East Brandenburg for their innovative products and their business performance.
