Growing economy in Berlin and Brandenburg
Companies of the Berlin-Brandenburg region look optimistic into the future. This states the report the Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI’s) pronounced about the economic situation in the region. The index for economic situation rose from 110 to 128 points within one year which is a record high since the beginning of the reports 13 years ago. In the first half of January 1.400 companies from industry, trade, service, transportation and civil engineering have undergone a query about their future business prospects.About 45 percent of the companies questioned feel good about their current situation. Only eight percent estimate their market position as bad. Answers from companies around Berlin were slightly more optimistic. Looking into their future around 33 percent anticipate better transactions. Only 13 percent think their business is about to spiral downward. In conclusion economy looks at a bright future in Berlin and Brandenburg.
