aleo solar AG has announced revenue of approximately EUR 130.4 million for 2006.
This figure is clearly in excess of its most recent target of EUR 116 million and represents an increase of approximately 22% on the figure for the previous year (EUR 106.9 million). The target for the EBIT margin was a solid 6-7%. EBIT is expected to be EUR 9.6 million (previous year: EUR 14.7 million). This corresponds to an EBIT margin of 7.3%.The main reasons why the Company outperformed its annual targets were the renewed upturn on the German market in the fourth quarter and strong growth in southern Europe. Due to ongoing growth in the German solar market and sharp increases in foreign revenue, aleo solar is expecting consolidated revenue of at least EUR 155 million in 2007, along with an ongoing solid EBIT margin. For 2008, aleo solar is forecasting stronger growth in revenue, for a total of at least EUR 200 million. The solar cells needed to achieve this increase in revenue have already been secured in full under existing contracts.
